This portrait has a great feeling to it. The first thing that pops to my head with those marked lines and those "weak" colours is a typical drawing or photography from the 70's or something. I don't know, don't ask me why, but it may have something to do with the colours of his jacket or something.

Anyway, I think this is a great drawing. You've found a nice balance between important details and not so important details. There's a certain debth in this picture even though you've barely used any light/shadow - mostly lines.
Also, the texture adds a nice effect and touch to it. I don't know how much I would like this one if the texture wasn't there, but I think it looks very good with the texture.
